I was born and raised in Fairbanks, AK and radio has always been a major influence in my life. I volunteered at a Christian radio station in Western Alaska for a time and feel very blessed and privileged to be on-air again.
Marital Status: married over 20 years to The Man, Gregory ... who I met via CB radio!
Kids: all girls - Harlee, Melanie, Delaina & Giana
Hobbies: listening to music, camping, biking, cooking, baking, singing
Pets: Frodo Baggins, a shih-tzu; Marchie Levin & Giggles Augustina -our betta fishies, & several dust bunnies - Edsel, MaryLou & Cornelius ;)
Favorite food: pasta & anything with cheese - cuz cheese is good!
Favorite drink: diet Mt.Dew or SWEEEEET tea
Favorite movie: Dirty Dancing, Grease, Mama Mia, & pretty much any and all chick flicks or rom-coms.
Favorite TV show: Alias, Chuck, Friends, HIMYM, Hawaii 5-O, any antique shows or remodeling/design shows, & anything on the food network! (I’m such a foodie!)
Favorite sport/team: whoever The Man cheers for - but especially the Tennessee Volunteers (yes - he’s a country boy!)
Favorite country artist: the Oak Ridge Boys, Alabama, the Statler Bros, John Denver, and I find myself singing along with just about all the other artists, too!
My trademark expression is: “AJ Pugh, here with you”, “Cheese is good.”, & most recently, “Oh, my gravy!”
Most memorable moment: Bringing my baby daughter to work with me everyday until she learned to walk & started pushing buttons - she turned OFF the FM side of the station completely! And on my last day at that same Christian station, at the end of a prayer program, I played a Christmas song by accident….in September.
If you could go anywhere in the world - where & why: New Zealand and Papua New Guinea ~ for missions work and to visit with some dear friends.
